Thank you for using Kachaka. We are pleased to announce a software update for Kachaka.
[Software Version]
Ver 3.6.6
[Update Content]
[Pro] Route Specification Feature
When Kachaka moves near a designated route, it will follow the specified area on that route.
For example, you can set it to pass only one side of a long corridor, or, if you have previously designated a fixed route between multiple points, you can now specify an entire route in one go.
[Pro] Multiple Charging Docks Now Supported
Responding to customer feedback for large spaces, where users want to avoid Kachaka running out of charge, it’s now possible to set up multiple charging docks from the app, allowing Kachaka to charge at the nearest dock as needed.
[Pro] High-Precision Arrival at Destinations Using Wall Markers
To enable integration with various other systems, Kachaka can now arrive at destinations with greater accuracy using markers.
[Pro] Static IP Address Now Supported for Kachaka
You can now fix Kachaka's IP address by specifying it in the Wi-Fi settings screen.
Customers who have already set up Kachaka can try this by reconfiguring Wi-Fi settings.
[Pro] Map Expansion Now Available
You can expand the map while retaining existing settings, such as furniture, destinations, and no-entry areas.
If there were areas like rooms not scanned initially or parts obstructed by objects like cardboard boxes, you can now add these areas to the existing map.
Other Major Improvements
- [Pro] BGM volume now lowers during voice announcements.
- [Pro] Maximum width for furniture cargo has been increased to 65 cm.
- Routine editing is now available in remote operation mode.
- Fixed an issue where Kachaka’s position would often shift if the charging dock was misaligned.
- Improved map saving speed and fixed an occasional issue where saving would not complete.
