Thank you for using Kachaka. We are pleased to announce a software update for Kachaka.
[Software Version]
Ver 3.10.6
[Pro] Slope areas can now be designated
You can now designate slopes as "slope areas." In these areas, Kachaka can travel safely and smoothly on inclines.
[Pro] WPA/WPA2-EAP-TLS connection is now supported
Network connectivity has been enhanced to support WPA/WPA2-EAP-TLS authentication. This allows Kachaka to connect to secure Wi-Fi environments commonly used in enterprises, factories, and research institutions.
[Pro] Patrol lamp display feature added
To improve Kachaka's visibility while moving, the LED can now be set to flash green (rapid rotation). If not set, the LED remains solid white while in motion.
Connection modes can now be configured
Connection settings such as "LAN-only use" and "remote operation" have been unified into configurable connection modes. Additional updates include:
- [Pro] Added auto-connection configuration for mDNS environments in local connection mode.
- Each Kachaka can now have individual connection settings.
Obstacle detection height can now be configured when running without furniture
You can now configure the obstacle detection height for Kachaka when it is operating without carrying furniture. By setting the height of tables or chairs, Kachaka will avoid entering underneath them.
Other Major Improvements
- Improved the accuracy of stopping using floor markers.
- Kachaka can now stop in alignment with the furniture orientation using wall markers.
- Fixed an issue where Kachaka could collide with walls when restarting after stopping at a wall marker.
- When multiple shared routes are configured, Kachaka now plans routes considering all of them.
- Fixed an issue where Kachaka would move to a self-location correction marker during a task to visit all destinations using "Request to Kachaka."
- Multiple schedules and shortcuts can now be created using "Request to Kachaka."
- Improved the accuracy of self-location correction using markers.
- Fixed an issue where Kachaka would give up en route when traveling a long-distance route.
- Fixed an issue where speed settings in speed zones would not apply immediately after entering the area.
- Smoothed the acceleration after starting from a stop at a wall marker.
- The DockAnyShelfWithRegistrationCommand in the kachaka API is now displayed in the history.
